Meet Our Team

Ryan Hanks – Founder & Co-Chief Executive Officer

Ryan Hanks has over 22 years of real estate experience acquiring and developing apartment communities and storage facilities and has been involved in more than $9 billion in commercial real estate transactions.

Ryan started Madison Capital Group in 2009 to create an opportunistic real estate venture focused on creating a diverse real estate platform that would provide outsized returns for its investors.

Ryan is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and Young Presidents Association (YPO).

Jake Ramage – Co-Chief Executive Officer

Jake Ramage is the co-CEO of Go Store It Self-Storage. Prior to joining Go Store It, Jake was the Co-Founder, President & CEO of Snapbox Self Storage, a vertically integrated self-storage investment and management company he established in 2013. Headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, Snapbox quickly became a recognized leader in the industry under Jake’s strategic leadership.

Earlier in his career, Jake was a distinguished self-storage real estate appraiser, earning the prestigious Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) designation. He held roles at Ernst & Young and Cushman & Wakefield before serving as Managing Director and head of the Philadelphia appraisal office at Colliers International. Throughout his appraisal career, Jake earned numerous accolades, including recognition by Valuation Magazine as one of the top appraisers in the United States under 30. He also demonstrated leadership within the appraisal industry as a two-term President of the Southern New Jersey Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.

Jake holds an M.B.A. from Drexel University and is a former Division-1 men’s basketball player and team co-captain at Bucknell University. During high school, he was nominated to the prestigious McDonald’s All-American High School Basketball Team, highlighting his competitive spirit and dedication.

Jake brings a unique combination of industry expertise, entrepreneurial vision, and leadership to Go Store It, helping drive its continued growth and success.

Matthew Lang – President

Matt Lang is the President of Go Store It Self-Storage, where he leads the company’s growth strategy with a particular focus on expanding its third-party management division and pursuing acquisition opportunities. Drawing on his extensive network of self-storage owners, investors, and developers, Matt plays a key role in driving the company’s expansion. With a strong background in the self-storage industry, he also serves as a Board Member of the Pennsylvania Self-Storage Association. Prior to his current role, Matt was CEO of Self Storage Advisor and Co-Founder/COO of Snapbox Self Storage, where he helped grow the company to over 55 locations. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Studies from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.

Scott Hastings – Chief Financial Officer

Scott Hastings, CFA, CPA, is the Chief Financial Officer of Go Store It. Before joining Go Store It, Mr. Hastings served as CFO of Snapbox Self Storage. In August 2024, Snapbox merged with Go Store It, resulting in a combined portfolio of more than 10 million square feet across approximately 150 assets.

Before his role at Snapbox, Mr. Hastings was a Portfolio Manager at Macquarie Group (formerly Delaware Investments), where he spent 17 years managing investments in a wide range of publicly traded real estate securities, including long/short equity, preferred and convertible securities, unsecured debt, and CMBS. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hastings spent three years with Deloitte in its Audit and Advisory Group.

Beau Agnello – Chief Operating Officer

Beau joined Go Store It as Chief Operating Officer in 2023, bringing a wealth of experience in self-storage operations and management. Prior to this role, he was Head of Operations and Senior Vice President for a privately held self-storage brokerage, investment, and management firm in the Midwest, where he led operational strategy and execution across a diverse portfolio.

His career in the self-storage industry began with Extra Space Storage, where he quickly advanced through various leadership roles, including District Team Lead, Division Learning Manager, Senior District Manager, and Division Vice President. As Division Vice President overseeing Texas, Beau managed an impressive 11 million square feet of rentable space and more than 88,000 tenants. He also contributed to the company’s innovation initiatives by serving on the Product Innovation Committee, helping to drive new initiatives that shaped the company’s growth and customer experience.

Beau’s deep expertise in operational excellence, team development, and large-scale portfolio management positions him as a key leader at Go Store It. He continues to drive the company’s operational strategy and growth.

Evan Stephens – Chief Investment Officer

Evan serves as the Chief Investment Officer for Go Store It. Evan helps analyze acquisitions, developments, and expansion opportunities. Evan previously worked with Jefferies Investment Banking in the Real Estate, Gaming, and Lodging Group, where he assisted in the evaluation and execution of strategic alternatives for public and private real estate companies—including mergers and acquisitions and capital markets issuance.

In his career, Evan has worked on more than $2 billion of real estate transactions, including more than $1 billion in the storage sector.

Evan graduated from Wake Forest University with an M.S. in Accountancy and a B.S. in Finance.

Adam Lentz – Chief Development Officer

Adam oversees the Go Store It development activity on the West Coast. Throughout his career, Adam has amassed extensive real estate experience by acquiring and developing over 28,000 self-storage units and 5,000 multifamily and for-sale condominium units, with total development costs exceeding $2.25 billion. Adam most recently served as the Managing Director for Leon Capital, where he led the company’s self-storage platform—consisting of acquisitions, development, construction, financing, and asset management of more than 2.25 million square feet of self-storage properties. Before joining Leon Capital Group, Adam was the Regional Director for Johnson Development Associates, where he founded the West Coast office of Johnson’s national self-storage development platform.

Adam graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Economics.
